When we arrived in Edinburgh last Thursday the skies were clear and the Sun was shining down upon us. Come Friday morning it was the sort of weather where Inspector Lestrade would burst into 221B Baker Street and exclaim; ‘Come quickly Mr Olmes, there’s bin an orrible murder’
